Why we do not show registrations by state
We do not show registrations by state: 86 to 87% are recorded under "Rakan Niaga", JPJ's partner portal, not the owner's state.
Sales figures from MAA
The Malaysian Automotive Association counts sales, as total industry volume (TIV), not registrations, so its figures differ from JPJ's: 820,752 vehicles in 2025, and 73,615 in July 2026.
